Fontorama – Licensing & Terms of Use

All fonts created by Mike Larsson (Fontorama / Mr.Fisk Fonts) are protected by international copyright laws. By downloading or using our fonts, you agree to the following terms:

1. Personal Use License

  • Cost: Free / Donationware.
  • Usage: Only for personal, non-commercial projects (e.g., school work, private cards, or non-monetized social media posts).
  • Restriction: You may not use the font for any business, advertising, or profit-making activity.

2. Commercial Desktop License

  • Cost: €50 (One-time fee).
  • Usage: For small businesses, independent artists, and freelancers. Includes use in logos, flyers, and local merchandise.
  • Limit: Valid for up to 5 workstations within the same organization.

3. Extended / Major Label License

  • Cost: Contact for Quote (Starting at €2,500 + Royalties).
  • Usage: Mandatory for major record labels, international film/TV productions, global advertising campaigns, and large-scale retail merchandise.
  • Requirement: A signed licensing agreement is required before the font is used in any commercial release.

⚠️ UNAUTHORIZED USE & PENALTIES

Fontorama takes Intellectual Property theft very seriously. Any commercial use of our fonts without a prior written license agreement constitutes willful infringement.

  1. Standard Penalty: Any unauthorized commercial use will be billed at a minimum penalty rate of €5,000 per font, per year of use.
  2. Corporate & Major Label Infringement: In cases where a major corporation or record label uses a Fontorama font without permission for international releases (Albums, Singles, Global Tours, or Merchandising), the penalty for willful infringement is €500,000 per violation.
  3. Legal Enforcement: We actively monitor global media for unauthorized use. In the event of infringement, we will pursue the maximum statutory damages under international law, including the recovery of all legal fees and profits derived from the unauthorized use.
